Wow! What a year! What a decade! This is the year of our mascot change, but I'll always be proud to be a BRAVE!
I am now retired, enjoying 8 beautiful grandchildren!! Our children are settled professionally and looking a little older these days!
My husband and I are living part-time in St. George. Ive taken up e-biking, still love cooking, gardening, book clubs, and entertaining. Our parents have passed and we will continue our travels when COVID bans are lifted. I hope you are happy and are feeling a sense of well-being and peace.
Yes, the wiglet on the floor was mine. How and why I managed to stuff my thick long hair into a nylon stocking secured with bobby pins is still beyond me! I could feel them slipping with each flip of my head. Once the wiglet landed, it threw me off beat and seemed to catch the corner of Lindy's eye. That's when the drum beat went wrong. Nancy Bushnell slipped on it, and Mary Tyson kicked it into the air. The audience was howling with laughter as we stood transfixed in our "B". Mr. Wright, who was standing in front of me said, "Just keep going...Just keep going!"...and that is what I did - just kept going while people howled - a total comedy of errors. In the locker room I wasn't sure if I should laugh or cry and found myself doing both at the same time!
